Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

CalDaar ("CalDaar", "we", "us") is a vacation-rental calendar app that helps hosts manage properties and bookings and sync availability with platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and Google Calendar via iCal feeds. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

How we use it

Calendar sync & sharing

When you enable export for a property, CalDaar publishes a public iCal URL containing booking dates so other platforms can read your availability. Guest names are not included unless you explicitly turn on that option. Anyone with the URL can read the feed, so treat it as a secret and regenerate it if exposed.

Service providers

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Hosting, Storage, Cloud Messaging) to run the app. Your data is processed on Google Cloud infrastructure. Sign-in may use Google or Apple. We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete properties, bookings, and your profile in the app. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

Security

Access is restricted by per-user authentication and server-side security rules. Avatars and feeds are served over HTTPS. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Children

CalDaar is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
